My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bryan - College Station TX
(moving back to Austin temporarily in mid-December)
Boomhauer (Boomer) Pitbull/Staffordshire Mix
~ 5 years old

I rescued Boom in 2022 from a neglectful home and have cared for him throughout college. I am joining the Conservation Corps in January and searching for a loving forever home OR foster for him. ❤️

Boomer is the sweetest boy who loves cuddles, walks, sunbathing, and affection. He does well with female and non-dominant male dogs, but no cats. He is very well-behaved, and only alert barks or becomes protective if he feels threatened. He is a very passive dog, with no bite history. He is potty trained and can stay inside without accidents all day. He does well with new people if you go slow and allow him to gain your trust.
He does have some seasonal allergies, I use apoquel whenever his skin gets irritated. I give him a bath twice a month and clean his ears when they're dirty, this helps a lot with his allergies.
