My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I have lived with cats.

I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.

I am looking for a home with a patient person.

I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

Faithy interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience, demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.

A volunteer writes: Maybe Faithy fluffs and puffs his tail because he thinks it'll teleport him to his forever family that much faster. I'm not sure, but it's certainly a look and he has the personality to back it up. Faithy came barrelling out of his den on a mission. No sooner had I sat down at his condo, was Faithy at the front leaning his whole side into my arm. This may seem like garden variety friend making behavior except that Faithy is no ordinary cat because then he puffed his tail out as far as it could go for that extra bit of pizazz. He's pretty much all cuddles and snuggles because before I could ask him what the plan was, Faithy was tucking his little head into my hand. Committing to a very unique slanted lean and keeping his tail as puffed as possible, Faithy told me a little bit more about himself. He's not one to brag, but I am and I'm impressed! I learned that Faithy is outgoing, friendly, and affectionate. He has experience with other cats and is hoping that if the teleporting doesn't work out, you'll come in and be impressed enough to bring him home.
