My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Frappe is looking for a foster or adoptive home!

Pros:
*Getting comfortable with strangers
*Working on being comfortable on a leash
*Loves treats-learns quickly with food motivation
*Starting to open up to staff
*Good with other dogs
*Has had some housetraining
*Working on sitting on command

Cons:
*Wouldn't recommend young children or cats at this time
*Will take a while to warm up to a new environment

Please fill out a foster or adoption application if you would be interested in working with one of these awesome pups to realize their full potential! All dogs receive one free week of training through the service GoodPup. Foster homes can receive up to three free training classes per foster dog with Dogs R Plus in Cameron.

More about this shelter

The Humane Society of Barron County is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter serving Barron County and surrounding areas.

Established in 1978 by a small but dedicated group of core volunteers, the HSBC started out with these volunteers taking animals into their own homes and advertising the need for forever homes for these animals. Over the years, since this humble beginning the HSBC has grown into the organization that it is today. From the homes of volunteers, relying on fundraising and the generous donations of our community, we have grown into and remain in our home on Guy Avenue in Barron.

HSBC is operated by a small staff and relies heavily on volunteers, as well as funds from donations, adoptions, memberships and fundraisers to keep our doors open for the animals needing our assistance.

We sincerely thank you for making this possible.
