My name is Freckles!

Freckles is a 2-year-old male Chihuahua weighing 7 pounds. This sweet boy has quite a story to tell. He was born in a house that at the time he was rescued in early October there were 92 other little dogs primarily Chihuahuas. Freckles had never been outside. He has had so much to learn. Freckles has never been aggressive. He came to us very shy and hesitant to engage in contact with humans, but he is learning we can give him love and comfort. Freckles can be picked up easily to be held and if the treat is special, he will take it from your hand. He likes to play with toys and especially a game of vigorous tug a war with Casper the little Chi he shares his area with. He would really enjoy another little one to pal around with. We have found him to be very smart in learning routines.
He is working hard on keeping his area clean and is anxious to run out to the courtyard area to not only play but potty.
Freckles is neutered, microchipped vaccinated wormed and has had a vet evaluation. His adoption fee is $250

ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Poquita Paws does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes spay/neutered, rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventrative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE.

We transport to most states across the country.

Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.
