My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Saint is a handsome Catahoula mix puppy who was rescued from a local shelter who found him stranded alone with a badly broken leg. He was in desperate need of medical attention and a home. Legacy Humane Society stepped up and answered the call.

He has made a full recovery post surgery thanks to the wonderful rehab team in her foster home. All he needs now is a forever home to call his own!

Saint is house broken and crate trained. He does great with dogs and people of all shapes and sizes. He has not yet been cat tested but we can cat test if needed.

We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period.
