My name is Sugar!

Sugar is a healthy female cat. She enjoys a lot of alone time. Very skittish around noise and commotion. She will occassionally like to cuddle up to you once she knows you for some head butts and purrs. She can tolerate dogs and cats, but is on the grouchy side with them. No fights, but she likes to assert her dominance with them.

She originally lived with an elderly man who passed in June 2021. Same month my aunt then adopted her. However, she later had to move to a senior living facility that didn't allow pets, so I took her in as a foster Feb 2022. Already, she'd been in three/four homes, and I couldn't see her going back to a shelter.

After several scenarios on my 5 year old cat and dog, who was our original cat, I've decided after 2 years of trying, Sugar needs to find a better home for her needs. She is getting her yearly rabies vaccine this afternoon, so she will have a recent vet appt/exam done.
