Loon is a 1-year-old female cat with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. She adores cuddling on laps during the day and snuggling close at night, making her the perfect companion for someone seeking a sweet, affectionate cat.

Loon is full of energy and enjoys playtime, but her lively nature can sometimes come across as too rough when interacting with other cats. While she tries to play with one of her feline housemates, her exuberance can be overwhelming, and she tends to go after two of the four cats in her current home in a less-than-friendly way. However, she backs off when another cat stands their ground.

This darling girl thrives in a stable, loving environment. While she may need a few days to adjust to new surroundings, her cuddly, endearing personality shines once she feels at home. Loon would do best as an only cat or in a household with confident cats who can match her energy. With her affectionate nature and playful antics, Loon is sure to bring warmth and fun to her forever home!

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
