My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adopted from a breeder three years ago. He is housetrained and responds to commands such as sit, place, heel, down, and break. Loves people, playing with dogs and humans, and was raised with cats.

He is honestly a loving and kind dog, but he has some behavioral issues that require some patience and experience. He has trouble appropriately expressing affection, and gets excited very easily to the point of some nipping. In turn, it makes him hard to pet, and to provide physical affection.

He also whines if you put a barrier between you and him. Although he loves guests, he barks at the sound of the door bell, and is very food-oriented. Our family has sadly decided we are unequipped for these behaviors in the long term.

That being said, he has a great love for people and play. He enjoys the dog park, and will love you forever if you play fetch with him, or go off leash in forest/foothills. We never worry about him wandering off; he always comes back. Good, loyal dog.
