My name is Barry's!

Hi! I'm Barry (aka Barley), a super cute puppy on a mission to bring joy and cuddles into your life! I absolutely love spending time with my humans. My favorite thing in the world is snuggling up between my two humans, getting all cozy in the crevices, and just basking in the love. Oh, and belly rubs? YES PLEASE. If you scratch my belly, we're basically best friends forever.

I’m still learning about the world, but I’m a fast learner! I’m working on my leash skills—don’t worry, I’m getting better every day—and I love to play catch with my squeaky balls. I’m also really into puzzles, like figuring out how to get those tricky squirrels out of their log toy. You could call me a little brainiac!

I can be a bit chatty, but I’m working on it with lots of coaching. I know plenty of commands already (I told you I was smart!), and I’m happy to show off for treats.

I should let you know that I’m leash reactive, so I’d do best in a home where I can take walks in quieter areas. I also need to be the only dog in the home—more room for me to soak up all the love and attention!

Oh, and the cutest thing about me? Well, that’s easy. It's my adorable little tongue that sometimes sticks out and my classic Yorkie head tilt when I’m trying to figure you out. So, yeah, I'm basically the cutest, sweetest, and smartest pup you’ll ever meet. If you need a cuddle buddy or a fun little sidekick, I’m your pup!

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
