Mush is the perfect blend of playful energy and laid-back charm—a true middle child who knows how to balance the best of both worlds! Whether it’s running around with his brother Mash, wrestling, exploring, or sniffing out the tastiest snacks, Mush is always in the middle of the action. But don’t be fooled by their adventurous spirit—Mush has an amazing ability to read the room. When it’s time to relax, they’ll settle right in, becoming the ultimate cuddle buddy.

Mush’s superpower is their adaptability. They can go from being the life of the party to the chillest lap cat in no time. This little kitten thrives on connection, whether it’s playful wrestling with Mash or curling up beside you for some quiet bonding time. Mush’s balanced personality makes them an ideal companion for any household dynamic.

Raised in foster care, Mush has been exposed to cats of all ages, children 12 and up, and adults, making them well-prepared for a variety of homes. Mush would love to be adopted alongside Mish or Mash to continue their sibling adventures but would also thrive with another friendly feline companion. Since he is a kitten he does need to have another cat to be friends with. He would also do okay with dogs given a proper introduction.

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
