BIO: Hello, I'm Gretchen! I'm just a kitten, but do I have stories to tell! I'm sweet, goofy, cuddly, and brave. My tail has a white tip, like it's been dipped in cream! Funny story about how I got here. I was chasing my tail (don't judge, it's a cat thing) and somehow ended in a car engine! Luckily, I was found by kind humans who brought me to ARC. Cuddles? I can't get enough of them! My white-tipped tail is always swishing with joy. Adopt me, and let's make our own magical world together1
RESCUE: I was found in an engine where I was trying to hide. I got a little lost but the kind family helped me smell my way to some tasty food. They contacted ARC and I went into foster care.

Please complete an online application and email us. Adoptions are by appointment on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 5-6:30 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays, 1-4:30 pm.

Like the animals that come our way, Animal Rescue Connections (ARC) may be small but we make a big difference in people’s and animals’ lives. Primarily serving Bulverde, Comal County, and Northern San Antonio, ARC is an all-foster based organization with volunteers who are passionate about our adoption, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and helpline programs.

Located in Bulverde TX, we are an all-foster organization, caring for our rescued animals in our own homes. Because we are not a shelter, we cannot take in all the animals we get called about, but we can find the "connections" you need to help you with your rescued, lost or found animal.
