Weve had Finn since he was an itty bitty kitten. After 7 years together, Im making the heart breaking decision to try to rehome him. With each of our children, he has become more and more stressed and skittish. Since I became pregnant recently with our third, hes begun peeing on things - mostly my things and anything we bring into the nursery.
Vet told us he has urinary tract disease, which is apparently common for indoor male cats. They told us it becomes inflamed with major stressors. Since finding out, we began feeding him specific urinary care food recommended by the vet. Thats helped substantially, but Im worried its going to flare up again with how stressed hes getting and with the arrival of baby.
He would do best in a home with older children or no children at all and one in which hes the only pet. He does well with our girl cats and our dog, but he really keeps to himself. He is an indoor only cat. He is so playful, is the best napping buddy and is so sweet! Thank you!
