My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Benji / Neutered Male / 8 months / 25lbs / Aussie x Poodle (supposedly) / Dogs: Yes / Cats: Untested / Kids : Yes

Remember Benji? He’s had all getting completed and some time to get to know him, he’s officially available for adoption!

Benji is a playful and curious 8-month old Aussie mix, who is ready to find his forever home!
Benji is a smart and energetic boy who loves to chew, play with squeaky toys, and run around. He's highly food motivated, which makes training super easy.

Benji takes a little time to warm up to new people, especially men, so he needs a patient and gentle person to help him trust. He'd thrive in an active family who loves the outdoors and can provide him with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.

Benji is house trained, crate trained, and loves going for car rides, where he'll curl up in his blanket and snooze, rarely even bothering to take a gander out the window. While he can be a bit anxious in new situations, with slow introductions and positive reinforcement, he'll learn to navigate new environments confidently.

Benji has been great with kids, and the few dogs he has met, but he is untested with cats and with his squirrel prey drive being high, not sure he’s a good candidate for a home with feline friends.

Benji is a super fun, and loving pup. He would love a home where someone is home more often than not.

Benji is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccinations. He is currently being fostered in Trenton.
