Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Moose needs a home with no kids. He is around 2.5-3 years old. We are rehoming because we are wanting kids in the near future.
We took him in from
an abusive situation, and he has come such a long way with so many behaviors (grooming, house training, learning to be friendly with dogs). I am hoping to find someone willing to build trust with him.
He is smart, takes commands well, and is so teachable. It did take him a while to become friendly with our other dog, but they became best buds within a month or so. He is an absolute baby, loves cuddles, and does not get on your furniture (except when he gets the occasional zoomies).
He has had some issues with guarding when it comes to bones, but we have had no issues with food as we have worked really hard with this given we have another dog. He would do best in a home with no dogs, but could adapt to a home with one dog.
He has had no medical issues, we have had him for two years. Will pass on all grooming materials we have for him.
