Foster Home Feedback
11/25/24 Foster Feedback: Thunder <3 is a sweet, sweet baby. He has so much love to give. This cutie is fully potty trained, has never had an accident, sleeps through the night, rides GREAT in the car, and walks well on a leash.
Thunder cannot be kenneled as you can see from the marks on his nose, he gets frustrated and hurts himself. Since discovering this, he’s been left out to roam when we’re not home and he does not destroy anything- just waits by the window upon your arrival.
Thunder will be a very loyal companion, will want to follow you everywhere and snuggle. He does have a touch of separation anxiety and gets incredibly excited when you come back home, leading to some jumpy, hand-huggy moments. But with a bit of guidance and some toy distractions, he quickly calms down and becomes your devoted foot-warmer.
Thunder takes a bit to warm up to men, he will bark initially, but won’t take long to warm up. Thunder is very dog-friendly, although his high-energy antics can sometimes be a bit much for dogs who prefer a more laid-back playmate.
** Thunder is Lyme and Anaplasmosis positive. These are tick-borne illnesses, and he is currently being treated with Doxycycline.
