My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A volunteer writes:
Maverick is a little beauty who for the life of me has not yet been adopted. Maverick is shy, that's a given but she has improved overtime and we all do believe that a home sweet home will bring back the spark in her. I love her long hair, the way she wraps her bushy tail around her body, like a "boa" and her elegant poses when she rests in her cubby. She owns the cutest face  and she looks so regal in her magnificent coat I would lso ove to brush. She is surprised when I open her cubby's door, hesitant when my hand first caresses her head and body, then she leans into pets and purrs, her body relaxing and trusting me. Maverick was abandoned with her three look alike female housemates at the Manhattan Care Center's door. She is hoping to meet you very soon and sweeten your life with her presence and love.

Maverick interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.
