My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepper (female) is about 1.5 years old, adopted her from Pasadena Humane.

Pepper is definitely a peoples cat, great for bigger families and/or an environment where she can receive a lot of attention. She can be a bit shy at first but her curiosity will get her to come close and check you out. It doesn’t take long for her to warm up to you and start asking (a lot) for pets and affection! You could pet her for long periods of time while purring happily the entire time. She appreciates being able to sleep on the same bed as you and will snuggle up to sleep alongside you.

As she requires a lot of attention and affection, it is important her new home can provide that environment and energy for her. She also doesn’t do well with other cats, a good relationship with other cats would be something that will take a much longer time to achieve. She gets very tense and fearful with other cats, perhaps from her experience prior to being taken to the shelter (found as a stray).
