Sheriff is looking for a dog-savvy adopter who will take their time with him and help him gain some confidence. We aren't sure what kind of life he had before coming to us but we don't think he had it easy. He was found by the county sheriff tied to a pole in the middle of the night.
This young boy has had positive experiences with some canine pals so he may do well with the right doggy friend. He tends to have an initial pushy playstyle but starts to mellow out after a little bit of playtime. Sheriff also enjoys a nice dip in his kiddy pool to cool off!
Once Sheriff starts to trust his person, he starts to become more affectionate often enjoying some pets on his face and head. He isn't only sweet, he is also very smart. He already knows how to walk well on a leash, how to Sit, and how to Lay Down!
Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.
