My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Apply for cats at www.carmah.org
All cats are first come first serve; sorry, we cannot reserve cats.

I'm Cassie, a sweet, smart, curious cat. I'm kind of quiet and I love to purr. I'll follow my people from room to room. I came to Carmah not all that interested in affection, but I've been warming up! I'm not into laps, at least not right now; however I love gentle petting. I did ok with other cats in my previous place, and I have no known exposure to dogs or small children.

I do best with sensitive food. Also, I came to Carmah slightly anemic. That has been resolved. You’ll need to ask your vet about rechecking labs in a few months.

I am 5 years old, and according to my vet, I am in good health. Ready for a sweet companion of your very own?

More about this rescue

Our all-volunteer feline rescue group is non-profit and no-kill. We have served our area of MA since 2002.
Our mission is to reduce the suffering of homeless cats, with a focus on cats in Central Massachusetts. Our programs include trap-neuter-release, placement of working cats, and adoptions of pet cats. We rely heavily on community involvement -- through volunteerism, fostering, and community awareness.
We welcome new volunteers and donations! See our website, https://www.carmah.org/ for more information.
