Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
*I am part of the Home for the Holidays adoption promotion! My adoption fee has been reduced to $50 until December 31. I would love to ring in the New Year with you!*
** I still need to be spayed so when my forever family decides to adopt me, I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **
Hi, I`m Bagel!
I am a sweet gal who is looking for a home to spend time with me and take me for walks! I am vision impaired and am looking for my furever family that will be patient with me. I`ve shown staff that I am a very tender, soft gal who would thrive in a quiet, calm home. I`m about 3 years old and weigh 58 pounds. I have a medical release that kennel staff can tell you more about when you come to meet me!
Do you like dogs? I`ve been neutral towards other dogs here at the shelter. Please bring all dogs in the home with you when you come to meet me!
Cats? I`m not sure. I would need slow introductions and supervision in order to live with a feline friend.
Kids? I can be nervous and with my vision I get uncomfortable. I would need to be around kids 10+, who can be gentle and respectful towards me.
Anything else you`d like us to know, Bagel? I was abandoned in the parking lot at Greenhill, so my history is a mystery.
I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.
It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption.
My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!
ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license.
This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugen

More about this shelter
Greenhill Humane Society has been caring for animals in Lane County since 1944. We operate the only animal shelter within the Eugene/Springfield area. Our programs include animal adoptions; reuniting lost animals with their families; disaster response; crisis care boarding in situations of domestic violence, medical emergencies, and other crisis situations; spay/neuter for free roaming, un-owned community cats; a pet pantry; on-site volunteer opportunities; foster care and humane education.
Last year, we helped reunite or find new loving homes for 2,826 animals. In addition, we provided 469 cat spay/neuter surgeries to assist cat caregivers in reducing feral cat over-population.
Greenhill is a private non-profit and relies on donations for a majority of its budget. The generosity of our local community enables us to provide a high level of care to lost, abandoned, and neglected animals while at the same time helping pet owners in need.
