Chucky is a large, medium-energy dog with a gentle and somewhat shy personality. While he is not reactive to humans or other dogs, he is cautious around strangers and needs slow introductions to new people and environments. Chucky is moderately social and enjoys checking in with his handler, though he also likes to explore his surroundings. He would do best in a calm, quiet home with older children (above 5 years old) who can respect his space and allow him time to build trust. Chucky's ideal adopter will be patient, understanding, and able to provide him with the space and time he needs to feel comfortable.
Chucky is a strong dog who can pull on the leash, particularly when he's excited or following a scent. A front clip harness or head halter is recommended to manage his strength and ensure safe walks. Training with positive reinforcement to teach basic commands and reinforce good leash manners will be essential for his success. Chucky may also require training to address impulse control, and his adopter should be prepared to work with him on skills like "Leave it" and "Sit/Stay." With the right guidance, Chucky has the potential to thrive as a loyal and loving companion. Primary Color: Brown Weight: 68 Age: 5yrs 2mths 2wks
