My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jennie, a cat with a spirit as independent as they come. She`s a bit shy at first, but don`t let that fool you. Once she gets comfortable, her curiosity knows no bounds. She loves to explore her surroundings, always on the hunt for something new to discover. Her independent nature doesn`t mean she doesn`t crave companionship though. Jennie loves to curl up beside you once she`s done with her daily adventures. Despite her shyness, she`s a loyal companion who will bring joy to your life. Adopting Jennie means opening your home to a cat who will enrich your days with her curiosity, independence, and affection.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
