Tis the season for all things wonderful and that means gingerbread houses and Gum Drops! Our very own Gum Drop has arrived just in time to fill your gingerbread house with love and kisses and a whole lotta sweetness! This bubbly gal will give you quite the sugar rush as she bounces right into your heart. We don't know her story but clearly someone did not know what a treasure they had. All that is behind her now. Full steam ahead to a happy life with people who will appreciate her.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly trainable. Could use some basic training to give her confidence and help her become her best self. She already knows "sit, watch me, give paw"
Her hobbies include: 🐾🐾 Hiking the Gumdrop Pass trails with her favorite volunteers. Tie those boots tight-She has medium high energy. But her passion for being with her hooman guides this sweet girl to be a people pleasing quick learner. 🦴 takes treats easily. 59 pounds of gumdrop goodness.
✅ Easy to dress up in sweaters, jackets, costumes for all those Hollidays and photos opps. 🚙Ready to head to Gumdrop Mountain for any adventure her hooman wants to embark on. Exercise and daily walks recommended for her to live life to the fullest.
🙋♀️🟢Great with people. 🐶🟡Energetic bouncy energy with dogs. Meet and greets would be required to determine compatibility. 🐈⬛ 🟢🟡Curious about cats. Reactive energy. Fine with calm cats but will speak up if the cats start stuff. Handled being swatted at by the inside cranky kitties ok. Wants to chase outside cats. Can be redirected. 🐾 She can be a strong walker, but walks well on training collar and does well when her walker utilizes basic training on the walks to keep her focus on her person. Come on out and meet the sweetest treat on Candy Cane lane (aka D row). Your heart will be full and your face will be smiling! She can't wait to cuddle up next to you and play a good game of Candyland of course! Primary Color: Blue Weight: 59.2 Age: 2yrs 1mths 1wks

More about this shelter
The Humane Society of Wicomico County was started in 1968 by a group of people who wanted to help improve the lives of animals. We have come a long way in our 40+ years! We have a staff dedicated to making sure the animals that come to our doors are loved and protected as they wait for their forever home. Not only are our animals vaccinated, wormed and given flea preventative, we can treat animals that come to us with mange, ringworm, heartworm and pay for animals to be seen by an outside vet should there be a need. We have an on-site spay/neuter clinic that not only is used for our animals but we also offer low cost spay/neuter for animals of the public. We provide emergency boarding for victims of domestic abuse, fire, and medical emergencies. We also have the capability to set up an off-site emergency shelter for people evacuated from their homes. In addition, we have an education program to help teach kids about being a responsible pet guardian. We work with a wide range of rescue groups and our animals have been transported from our mid-Atlantic area throughout the North Eastern United States. Our shelter is an open admission shelter and we will take in approximately 3500 animals this year. We do what we do because of our love for animals and our desire to make a difference in their lives every single day.
