My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the sleek black panther siblings, STEVIE NICKS and HENDRIX!  They both have beautiful golden eyes, and the main way to tell them apart is that Hendrix is a bit bigger than his sister, Stevie.  Both are a bit shy at first and while they are currently in a busy foster home with other cats, children, and dogs – they would benefit from a home on the quieter side.  Both love pets and snuggles, and purr loudly once they warm up to people.  If you crack a can of wet food, they both come running.  Stevie Nicks will often be found perched on the stairs watching everyone and everything, while Hendrix can be found hiding in a cat tube and popping his head out occasionally.  They came to a foster home after being found by a good Samaritan at a young age.  Both of these teenagers will blossom into affectionate companions in a quiet but loving forever home.

Hendrix and Stevie Nicks have been altered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet Hendrix and Stevie Nicks foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $280 adoption fee for both allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1.  HENDRIX ID 2409-C0355 STEVIE NICKS ID 2409-C0356

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette; PetCo by Valley River Center and Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
