This friendly guy meets everyone with a wiggly body and wagging tail. Pepe is a high energy pup that’s looking for an active family that is wiling to invest in his training, socialization and provide plenty of daily exercise and attention. A one of a kind pup with those distinctive ears!


ABOUT PEPE:

Believed to be an American Bulldog Mix
Approximately 4 year old neutered male, weighing 19 kg / 40 pounds
Pepe craves human interaction, he’s friendly with everyone he meets
Food motivated and eager to learn new things
He is microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations


PEPE’S IDEAL HOME:

Active family prepared to invest in his basic training, socialization and regular daily exercise and fun activities
He knows sit and is learning to walk well on leash but will need more training and supervision to make a successful transition into a new home environment
A home with direct access to a yard would be ideal to help with his training
He hasn’t shown any reactivity to other dogs while in our care and seems eager to meet them. So he maybe ok in a home with another dog provided there is a slow and supervised introduction.
We are not recommending Pepe for a home with cats, small animals or young children (under 12 years) because he hasn’t been tested. He may have a prey drive because he’s hard on stuffed toys at the shelter.
