Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Luci was rescued by a kind soul that found her by the river super skinny. She called us and we picked her up. We believe she is a purebred GSD. She is on the smaller side at just 40lbs so if you love the breed but can't handle a very large dog, Luci would be perfect. She is spayed, UTD on all required vaccines, HW tested negative and microchipped. Typical to the breed, Luci does have a prey drive so no cats or small dogs or other small pets. She loves people and gets along well with a large group of dogs here. Also, Luci is reliably housetrained. If you would like to make this beautiful and sweet girl your new family member, please email omlc7@hotmail.com or dogs4mylife@gmail.com and we will send our info and application. If you do not see a response, please check your spam folder.

Email omlc7@hotmail.com to request an adoption application. Once we receive your complete application, an adoption counselor will contact you, usually within 48 hours of receipt of the application. If pet is still available, we will do a phone interview. During the adoption interview, the adoption counselor will tell you more about the puppy and our adoption processes, as well as answer any questions you have. Dogs and puppies are up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered, de-wormed, treated for fleas/ticks and heartworm negative before leaving rescue. You will receive complete medical records for your dog or puppy at the time of adoption. The adoption fee varies based on age and breed and covers the cost of all veterinary care and transportation to your area. Most of our dogs are from $500 to $550. Our dogs and puppies are delivered via a USDA-certified van transport and receive an Interstate Health Certificate -- issue by a licensed, accredited veterinarian -- no more than 10 days before the dog or puppy leaves rescue. All of our dogs and puppies come into rescue from the "death row" of animal shelters in the south, or are owner surrenders or strays who were "pound bound" before coming into rescue. Adopting a dog or puppy from the One More Last Chance Rescue means you are truly part of a partnership to save the life of the dog or puppy that you welcome into your family. Our dogs and puppies are fostered at our rescue in Tennessee, meaning that it isn't possible to meet the dog or puppy before adoption. Our adoption counselor works with you to do everything possible to ensure that there is a good match between the family and the dog. We have had several hundred dogs adopted using this process and we have a very high success rate for a happy outcome. If for any reason an adoption is not successful, OMLC will work with the adopter to find the best possible solution for the dog and the adopting family. We can provide contact information for adopters in your area who can tell you about their experience partnering with the OMLC to save the life of a dog and make the animal a part of their family. We look forward to hearing from you and working with you to find the right dog for your family!
