My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions.

Lola is an 11-month-old Husky mix with stunning eyes and a heart full of love. At 45 pounds, she’s the perfect blend of affectionate, playful, and energetic. This cautious yet friendly girl is looking for a forever home that understands her unique Husky spirit and can give her the active lifestyle she craves. Lola’s favorite activities include zooming around the yard (her zoomies are absolutely adorable!), chasing and being chased by other dogs, splashing in water, chewing on toys, and going for walks. She loves to playfully lick other dogs' faces to encourage them to join in the fun, and she’s even friendly with cats and enjoys watching chickens! Reserved but kind with kids and strangers, Lola quickly warms up to new friends. She’s housetrained, well-behaved in her crate, and learning new commands every day. Like a true Husky, Lola can be stubborn and independent, so she’ll thrive in a home with experienced Husky owners who can guide her and provide plenty of attention and outlets for her energy. A fenced yard and another playful dog would make her happiest!  Lola’s sweet, affectionate, and playful personality makes her an incredible companion. If you’re ready for a loyal, fun-loving, and slightly mischievous partner in adventure, Lola is ready to join your family and fill your home with joy!

THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents.

A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first!

Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process starts with the submittal of an Adoption Application online and a phone interview with one of our adoption coordinators. To be sure the long distance adoption is the right match for both the dog and family, we offer virtual video conference meeting for your new family member. Following verification and approval of your adoption application, we will arrange a professional transport of our new family member to your area. Our adoption donations range from $200-$300 depending on circumstances of the rescue dog, age, breed, etc. Professional transportation for your new family member is $150. We require a signed contract, driver's license and vet reference.

Go meet their pets

Our rescue doesn't have an actual shelter in the New England area. Therefore it is not possible to meet our rescues in person prior to their adoption. Our dogs are brought up to their new families each week! The professional transport service is certified through the USDA. Our rescue dogs can be returned to us if things don't work out. We want each adoption to be for a forever home, so we try very hard to make sure it's the right match! Video conference meetings available and encouraged.

More about this rescue

A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) no-kill animal rescue located in the Upper Cumberland Region of Middle Tennessee where animal control issues are out of control. A.A.R.F. is making a difference not only in the lives of these wonderful, abandoned and neglected animals, but also in our community. We encourage you to see the wonderful dogs and puppies that we have available for adoption – and the best part is that we have a local transportation company, P.E.T.S. LLC (as seen on Animal Planet’s “Last Chance Highway”) right next door!
