My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sadie is a 6.5 year old pure bred Border Collie who we’ve had since she was a puppy. We got her from a college student who got her from a local breeder, but couldn’t keep her due to her apartment lease rules. We love her very much and want a nice home for her. Our daughter was a baby and our son was a toddler when we got her, so she’s been raised with kids and loves to play. About one year ago, I got a new job and cannot give her the attention she deserves and needs to thrive. She has always been an indoor dog, but loves to be outside and has a true working dog nature. She is smart and knows commands like sit, come and stay. She is a great and loving dog and would do great with an active family - maybe one who lives on a farm or in the country. She does not do well with other dogs, however! We do have a cat she loves to chase around. She is anxious with other animals as she was separated from her litter too early (we got her at 6 weeks and she had been with the college student first).
