My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Vegas, a neutered male German Shorthair Pointer mix who's ready to find his forever home! Vegas was brought to CHS as a stray, and although we don't know much about his past, his vibrant personality and eagerness to please are clear. Vegas is a very food-motivated dog, so be prepared-he'll try to sneak any table scraps left behind! Because of this, his new family will need to keep food out of reach to prevent him from becoming too focused on food. Vegas is also quite vocal, so he would not be suited for apartment living, as he tends to make his presence known.
Friendly and social with people, Vegas has a lot of energy and would do best in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He is also social with other dogs, but he can be a bit invasive and needs to work on his manners when interacting with them. With patience and guidance, he'll learn to be a more respectful playmate. If you're looking for a fun, energetic, and affectionate companion who will keep you on your toes, Vegas could be the perfect fit for your home!
