Meet Elfie (male), Holli,(female), GumDrop (female), SugarPlum (male), and Jingle (female). This festive litter is about 6-8 weeks old (as of December 1st).Elfie, Holli, GumDrop, and SugarPlum are siblings and were found at a Culpeper business where there are often strays. Jingle was the only kitten left, found in a hole in Stuarts Draft and advertised as free on Facebook (yikes!). Jingle was thrilled to meet other kittens her age and have a family again.
Elfie is a little male, black and white tuxedo with a black spot on his nose. He is somewhat quiet and likes to sit on his climber and watch from afar when his siblings play. At times he will join along, but he is more of a snuggler.
Holli is an all black little girl with an anyway-the-wind-blows purrsonality. She loves to play with her siblings, chase, and wrestle and be a cuddler or be coy. Sometimes she is the 1st one for canned food, sometimes she prefers not to be in the dinner crowd. She can also be quite the little michievious one! When she learned how to climb to the top of her crate and get out, this was a trick she played many times. She enjoyed getting caught as much as she enjoyed escaping! One day she was found on top of the refridgerator in the next room! She loves fun and games but is also a snuggly little girl.
GumDrop is a beautiful brown tabby and is a quiet little girl who is always hanging out with her bonded brother, SugarPlum. They sleep together, eat together, play together. They will need to be adopted together (adoption pending).
SugarPlum is also a brown tabby but with white mittens and chest and oh-my-goodness does this guy have a BIG purrsonality! The 1st day they came to us he insisted in climbing out of the crate - it was a fun game for him - multiple times - every few minutes - every day. When his foster mom came into the room, he would run like the dickens to her so that he could be cuddled. As soon as he was picked up, the purr machine would start. This went on for days! Every morning his foster mom would wake up in the morning and there he would be - happy as you please - comfortably sitting on a pillow under the crate. He quickly taught little Holli this trick also, and the two took turns climbing out of the crate. Sheesh! (Adoption is pending on SugarPlum.)
JIngle just came to us recently after we were notified someone was giving away a litter of kittens for free. (NOT a good idea.) Jingle was found with her 2 siblings "in a hole" and the she was the last one to be given away. Our wonderful volunteer drove all the way to Stuart's Draft to get her. JIngle is a black and white tuxedo and lives up to her name - she is a happy-go-lucky, tiny little girl who loves to frolic and play with just about anything she can find. She loves being with other kittens and makes friends instantly. She enjoys being held and loved on and would do best with another kitten as a playmate.
All kittens will be dewormed, receive 2 FVRCP vaccines, a rabies vaccine at 4 months of age, be spayed/neutered, combo tested, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. You won't need to reregister and pay $20+ every year, because it is done for you.
These babies would do best in a low to moderate activity home with kids over the age of 4 years old. Priority given to people adopting 2 kittens. Interested in a little Holiday cheer? We've got it right here! They won't last long! Contact us at GoodMews22@aol.com or call 540.717.4420. These cuties will be at the Home for the Holidays Adoption Event at the Culpeper PetSmart on December 7 & 14 from 11 - 3. Come meet them or fill out an application and have them in your home before the event!
