Are you ready for a whirlwind of joy and puppy energy? Meet Flurry, the 6-week-old, 13-pound bundle of fluff that’s ready to blow you away with his cuteness (and maybe knock a few things off the coffee table along the way).
Flurry is all about curiosity and adventure, especially when it comes to trying to keep up with the big dogs! He's already got his sights set on his Great Pyrenees buddy, eager to figure out the secret life of adult dogs, and doesn't shy away from a little game of tag with his littermates. So, buckle up, because Flurry is bringing the fun, the frolic, and an endless supply of puppy energy straight into your life. If you’re in need of a little extra mischief, and your heart is open to a lifetime of love and laughs, Flurry is your guy! Well....he is your guy if you are ready for some of their antics ;)
If you’re not already on a first-name basis with your vacuum cleaner, you will be soon. Great Pyrenees are known for their luxurious double coats that shed like there's no tomorrow. You’ll find fur in places you never imagined—probably inside your shoes, on the couch, and in your cereal. Get ready for a constant battle with fluff. Pyrs are known for being independent thinkers (aka they don’t always listen). Flurry’s little ears are still growing, but don’t be surprised when you call him, and he looks at you like, “Hmmm, that’s an interesting suggestion, but I have more important matters to attend to—like chewing this stick or napping on the couch.” Flurry is going to grow into a large, majestic Pyrenees. And while he's currently a small, fluffy ball of joy, you’ll need to prepare for his future size—he's going to be a big boy! And with big paws come big responsibilities, including his giant heart and love for attention(and sitting on your lap...no matter how big he gets)
Flurry's journey to us is straight out of a heartwarming (and slightly whimsical) tale. His mom, a roaming Pyr queen, decided to make her grand entrance at someone’s house, probably looking for a cozy spot to settle in and, oh, have a litter of adorable puppies. After a few weeks of settling in and raising her little ones, it became clear that managing a growing puppy kingdom was a bit more than the finders had bargained for. So, they reached out to us for help—because even the fluffiest of little flurries need a helping hand when they’re busy being too cute for their own good. With a little bit of luck, a lot of love from his foster family, and an eye for cute overload, Flurry and his siblings found their way to us, ready to embark on their next adventure.
Flurry is like that friend who shows up to the party ready to dance, but after a few songs, they’re suddenly on the couch, munching snacks and chilling with the dog. He’s the perfect balance of "let's play" and "okay, I'm good now, let's relax." He’ll romp around with other dogs like he’s auditioning for the "Puppy Olympics," showing off his zoomies and bouncy antics, but then—poof—just like that, he’s down for a snooze. He’s still figuring out the whole car thing, but for the most part, he’s along for the ride—he may need a little lift to get into the car, but once he's there, he’s as chill as a puppy can be. He’s definitely ready to go wherever the adventure takes him! Flurry is still a little too young for big outings just yet—he's more of a "stay-at-home, play-in-the-yard" kind of pup right now. While he’s totally ready for social visits and trips to the pet store in the future, for now, his idea of a good time is playing with his littermates and napping in the sun. He’s got plenty of growing up to do before he’s ready for café dates and public adventures, but once he’s older, he’ll be the life of the party. Until then, he’s perfectly content being the social butterfly at home and soaking in all the love and attention you can give him! As for leash walks? Well, Flurry’s still in puppy training camp when it comes to leashes. Think of him as a work-in-progress, like a toddler learning to walk—he’s got the right idea, but he might need a bit of guidance to get it just right. When it comes to meeting new people, Flurry is like a puppy at a petting zoo—excited, curious, and totally ready for some attention! He’s a total love bug, bouncing around and eager to be near anyone who wants to share a little affection. He’s the kind of guy who will greet you like you’re his best friend, even if you’ve only just met.
Flurry is the social butterfly you never knew you needed. He’s equally happy to share the spotlight with other dogs or take center stage as the one and only star of the show—either way, he’s got plenty of love (and zoomies) to go around. Whether he’s bonding with furry siblings or soaking up all the attention from his humans, he’s a happy camper. As for cats, well, he hasn’t met any yet, but he’s definitely on the lookout for a new mystery to solve. Expect plenty of curious glances and a few attempts at befriending the ‘mysterious furballs’. And when it comes to kids, Flurry is basically a puppy-sized party in a fur coat. He’s the kind of dog that brings the fun wherever he goes. Bouncing around with excitement, he’ll be right there for every game, snack time, and backyard adventure. He’s got enough energy to match a toddler on a sugar high, but don’t worry—he’s also got the puppy smarts to know when it’s time for a nap after all the chaos. So, if you’ve got kids, get ready for a new best friend who’s eager to play, cuddle, and make every day a little more fun!
Flurry is definitely not an apartment dog—unless you count the fact that he has an entire world of fun packed into his 13 lbs. He’s a big personality in a little package, and he needs room to run, roll, and, let’s be honest, flop around like the goofy little pup he is. He’s still working on his potty training, but hey, it’s not a race, right? His little puppy brain is still figuring it all out, so he might need a little extra patience when it comes to that. Kennel training? Yup, Flurry’s totally down for the puppy kennel life. He’s still perfecting the art of couch lounging, but he’ll happily accept help getting up there. Once you pick him up, he’ll squeeze in for a solid 2-minute cuddle session, then he’s ready to go back to his puppy antics. And when it comes to barking, well, let’s just say he’s the adorable, high-pitched type who barks just to tell you, “Hey, I’m here! Notice me! I’m so cute!”
Flurry isn’t just here for a quick fling; this little fluffball is in it for the long haul. He’s the kind of puppy who’s ready to plant his paws in your heart (and your yard) for a lifetime. If you’re ready to be his forever human, get ready for a Pyrenees-sized commitment. Flurry is all about making his mark—whether it’s snuggling on the couch, running around like a goofball, or keeping watch for any squirrels that dare to enter his kingdom.
So, if you’re up for the adventure of raising this lovable, fluffy mischief-maker (and let's face it, who wouldn't want to?), it's time to take the plunge and submit an adoption application. You can grab it on our website, shoot us a message, or check the comments below. Flurry’s fostered in ✨Oolagah, OK✨, but the distance doesn’t scare him! Just be ready for a road trip to pick up your new best friend—this rescue doesn’t do transports, so the adventure starts with you!
Flurry won’t be ready to head home until he’s big enough to take on the world—think after Christmas. But trust us, he’s totally worth the wait!
