IDGSR Welcomes TIA into the safety of the rescue!!
THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN MARYLAND & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT

Happy Holidays! My name is Tia and I am a beautiful 16-18month female German Shepherd.
I am currently at a 4-week board & train program with Mason Dixon K9 in Maryland. Once I finish my training at the beginning of January, I will be available for transport!
Be sure to check out Mason Dixon K9 on Facebook to see all of my amazing progress! I am learning all sorts of basic & advanced obedience training. When I complete the program, I will be the best behaved gal!
Here are some fun facts about me & my ideal home!
1. I have a lot of energy! I need to be adopted by someone who is active and has a strong dog handler personality.
2. I’m a sporty gal, I would love to go swimming, take hikes, explore new places, go on trail runs, take neighborhood walks, go camping - really anything that’s active and fun!
3. I’m smart and am learning all sorts of amazing training with Mason Dixon K9!
4. My ideal home has a large fenced in yard for me to play in, someone who will keep me active & continue some ongoing training, and most importantly it has a person or family who will love me unconditionally!
5. My ideal home would be me as the only female dog. If you have a large confident male dog, with proper introductions we will get along. I need to avoid homes with cats, small dogs, and small kids.
6. If you are looking for an obedience trained pup, one who will always be down for adventures, one who will bring you love and loyalty - I'm your gal!

Imminent Danger German Shepherd Rescue started in 2011 rescuing German Shepherds and High Content Mixes from the Imminent Danger where they were sitting on Death Row in High Kill Animal Control Facilities in TN, NC, SC,KY, VA, GA & AL. Over 1000 Dogs lives have been spared and we've never worked so hard in our lives to save these wonderful kids. Our process from saving these kids includes 30 years of experience in working breed dogs. We conduct Safer Tests with all dogs to determine the abilities of the dogs so that we can match the right dog to the right family. We do not shove our dogs out the door. We do multiple videos of the dogs as well to our potential adopters. We disclose all positive and negative behavior traits so our adopters can work on any training the dog may need. IDGSR starts the rehabilitation and training with these wonderful kids and our adopters are part of the team of folks who help to ensure these kids will never suffer another day of hardship in their lives again. IDGSR will not take Aggressive Dogs into the Rescue.
If you have ever loved a German Shepherd then you will know where our hearts are to save these dogs from a certain death. It is our goal to save more but we need wonderful qualified families who want to save a life and welcome a new family member. We continue the work with our adopters even after adoption, we help with training and advice and counsel. IDGSR's staff look forward to hearing from you. Help us to find your new devoted and loyal best friend.
