Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We got a call from a friend of the rescue. The woman told us that she knew of a puppy that was either chained outside or in a crate that was covered with boards and cement blocks. The puppy had injured his eye and had also pulled out one of his claws. When we got to the residence, he was tied to the house on a huge chain. The crate was right next to him and was barely big enough for him to even fit inside. It had boards on all sides that were held in place with cement blocks, basically it was a coffin. We told the owner that we would take him to the vet and begged for her to surrender him to us. She eventually agreed and we rushed him to the vet right away. Luckily neither injury was too serious and his eye healed pretty quickly. His little claw is slowly growing back. He has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. We call them Pit-A-Dors! Half Lab, half Pit Bull. This little guy is more than ready for a good home!
