Chip is an eager-to-please pup who's ready to find his perfect match. His boundless enthusiasm makes him a star in training-he's already completed the puppy training program through Courteous K9! Chip thrives when he's active, whether it's going on adventures, learning new tricks, or just being your loyal sidekick.

When he's not on the move, Chip loves to snuggle up by your side or follow you around the house, proving he's just as much a cuddler as he is a go-getter. He does well when left at home on his own but would truly shine with an active owner who can match his energy and help him channel it positively.

As a German Shepherd, Chip would do best with someone who has experience with the breed or similar breeds and understands their need for both physical and mental stimulation.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
