Hello, my name is Birdie and I am the proud mom of 4 beautiful babies who have all found loving furever homes and now I am in the market for a furever home too. I am sweet and loving and love and ever pet I can get. But my foster mom is holding my paws to the so called fire, she says I must confess my one flaw. Ok, here goes, I am a kleptomaniac with a sweet tooth. Yes, if it shinny and/or sweet it is mine and I will find it and either open right there and eat it, specially cookies or cart it off to a safe place. I feel so much better bearded my soul to my potential adoptor. So if you are looking for a loving lap cat who lives dogs and cats but has one very tiny issue I am your girl. See you soon.

Submit Application

Whether you're interested in a specific pet or not, fill out our application online at houstonpetsalive.org.

2.
Meet the Pet

Once your application is approved, a meet and greet will be set up between you and your pet of interest.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If the meet and greet goes well and your adoption application is approved, you will sign the adoption contract.

4.
Pay Fee

Once the adoption contract is signed, you will pay the adoption fee.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Bring your new best friend home! Remember that it will take some time for him/her to adjust to their new environment.
