My name is Elmer Fudd!

Elmer is a polydactyl tabby kitten with extra toes and an extra-big personality to match! This adorable little guy is full of energy and curiosity, always sniffing around and exploring every corner of his world. Elmer loves nothing more than discovering new toys, running, jumping, and playing with his feline housemates. His confident and fearless nature makes him the life of the party, whether he’s showing off his athletic leaps or racing through the house at top speed.

Despite his high-energy antics, Elmer has a sweet and snuggly side. He’s just as happy curling up with his favorite people for some quality cuddle time as he is bounding around with his toys. Though he hasn’t met any dogs yet, Elmer’s bold and friendly personality suggests he’d adapt quickly and make friends with a canine companion. A natural socialite, Elmer thrives in the company of other cats and humans, bringing joy and playfulness to everyone he meets.

 At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days.  Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold.   Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules.  Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee.   

**Dog/Puppy applications -  Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient.
