MILLY - 1-5 years old, 40 pounds, nervous at first, playful when she knows you
MILLY is a nervous Nelly in the shelter cage, I couldn't even get her out but with the help of one of her 'friends' I was able to meet her. Boy is she lovable!
*Milly is energetic, happy, jovial and silly!
*She loves chasing after the tennis balls and she loves teasing you with them.
*She runs, plays, chases, and returns right under your feet for attention.
*She loves giving kisses when she knows you.
*She allowed me to play with her and pet her but it was still clear she wasn't fully trusting of me, yet. But she loved that caretaker!
*She was all over Sarah, giving kisses, sitting, loving that attention.
*Time. Attention. Patience. That's all you'll need for Milly to learn to trust you.
*Milly is currently in our medium dog adoption kennel. Come on in to meet her but remember to give her space. Let her proceed at her own pace. And upon adoption, remember to allow her the time to get used to a whole new environment and family.
*Slow, proper introductions are wonderful and allow the dog to adjust accordingly.
*Rome wasn't built in a day!
