My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Date of Birth: 8/15/2017

Penelope was just about to set off for Texas with her mom of 6 1/2 years, as her mom was being moved there by family to be closer to them and moving into assisted living care. Then her mom had a few days of mobility issues due to her Parkinson's disease, which made them make the hard decision to leave her in the care of a rescue group, as her mom knew she would not be able to care for her much longer.
We were a little concerned that she would have a rough time getting used to living with numerous cats, since she had always been the only cat in her home, but to our surprise, she is doing amazingly well and doesn't seem to mind any of them at all. No hissing at all and she seems pretty relaxed all the time. She's also the sweetest cat, purring all the time and wanting pets and affection. She is the perfect cat and will make a terrific companion for someone.
