My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ava, the Ultimate Chill Companion!

Are you looking for a calm, loving, and oh-so-sweet best friend? Ava is a 3-year-old gentle soul with the perfect "low-maintenance lifestyle" vibe. This mellow girl is everything you could want in a furry companion—and more!

Ava is a dream on a leash and a star student—she already knows how to sit, takes treats like a lady, and is always patient when waiting for her reward. She’s treat-motivated (perfect for teaching her new tricks!) and loves nothing more than belly rubs, butt scratches, and soaking up all the affection her humans have to offer.

With her big smile and quiet, low-energy personality, Ava is the queen of couch cuddles. She’s great with other dogs and prefers to keep things peaceful, making her a perfect match for homes that value relaxation over rambunctiousness.

If you’re ready for a cuddle buddy who will love you endlessly and ask for little more than a cozy spot by your side, Ava is ready to snuggle her way into your heart.

Adopt Ava and let the chill vibes begin!

DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

***MOST OF OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS, BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.

Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).

Our adoption fee is $350 plus health certificate and transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, microchip (additional $12.99 registration fee required at time of adoption), fecal analysis, spay, and heartworm medication. Nisha tested positive for heartworms, but it is treatable, and she is on medication.  All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian prior to transport.

More about this rescue

Pep's Pals Rescue is committed to rescuing shelter & street dogs and cats then finding them forever homes. All dogs and cats deserve to live their lives showered with the love they deserve.
Pep's Pals is named after Pepper, a lab who gave so much love to the founder of Pep's Pals and her family. We carry on his legacy by loving and caring for the dogs & cats who need to know what it is like to be a part of a family. Pepper was kind to every human and fur friend he met. We believe that's how Pepper would want us to carry out our mission.
