This helps Carolina Coonhound Rescue with pet care costs.
Marlena has not had an easy life. She is very timid but once she feels comfortable, she is the happiest girl! We call her little wiggle butt. She's under 40 lbs, has done well meeting new dogs and is crate trained. Marlena truly is a special girl and is looking for someone to provide her some stability and patience to allow her to blossom into the precious diva we know is in there.
**This dog is heartworm positive and will be treated by the rescue and will be available for foster to adopt for a local family in or near Charleston, SC that is comfortable with the restriction requirements for the duration of treatment.
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application. We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter. If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible. Please note we are unable to hold dogs for adopters as this ties up valuable foster homes.
Please understand that we are an all volunteer group and we have jobs outside of this organization. We do our best to provide quick responses but occasionally they are a little slower. If you do not receive a response in 48 hours, please resend to make sure it's received.
