Leo is a 2 year old French bulldog that we purchased from a breeder. We have two young children and thought that this would be a nice addition to the family. In reality (though it has taken us almost 2 years to acknowledge this), our lifestyle is not fair to a dog. My wife and I are both busy physicians, our daughters are both involved in a number of activities…and a dog is not a priority to us. We are not home a lot, resulting in Leo being confined to a relatively small space for much of the time. My wife and I feel that Leo would be in a better situation with an owner that prioritized him more than we are able to do.
