My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Vanilla, a stunning grey-and-white Dutch bunny with a gentle spirit and a heart full of resilience. This sweet senior rabbit has been through a lot, including a recent surgery to remove a long-term tumor. She's healing beautifully and is on track to be spayed soon, ensuring she's ready to embark on the next chapter of her life in a loving home.

Vanilla is available through a foster-to-adopt opportunity, allowing her future family to support her through the remainder of her recovery and build a lasting bond. As a senior rabbit, she'll thrive with specialized but straightforward care, making her a perfect match for someone with a big heart and a cozy space to share.

Vanilla's golden years are just beginning, and she's ready to spend them surrounded by love, fresh greens, and the comfort of a forever home. Could that be with you?

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:
