What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Ivy is the sweetest girl in the world. She is a rescue from a shelter in Springfield, MO and is roughly 5 years old.
We have made the heartbreaking decision to rehome her for two reasons. The first is that she does not get along with my two family dogs. We were assured she was dog friendly when we adopted her, but when we attempted to introduce her to our dogs she was frightened and aggressive. The other reason is that she does not fit apartment living. Contrary to what we were told when we adopted her, she is a very high energy girl and being in the apartment with all the action around us causes her to be overly stressed.
We are looking for a home for Ivy where she can be the sole dog and have a fenced-in yard to run and play. She loves fetch and to just have the zoomies in the grass. She would be an amazing dog for someone who likes adventure and the outdoors.
Ivy is a protective, loyal, friendly dog. We know the perfect family exists for her. We love her and so will you!
