Meet Ella, she is 3-year-old and weighs 50 pounds and is full of potential to become the perfect dog. Sadly, Ella’s family was unable to keep her, and she now finds herself in the shelter together with Ollie, scared and unsure of her surroundings. They were surrendered on 11/27/24. While she’s shy and hesitant to sit, Ella’s love for treats hints at her willingness to bond and learn with a patient and understanding family. Ella is UTD on vaccines and heart worm negative. She will be spayed and microchipped before adoption. With time, patience, and a lot of love, Ella can blossom into the loyal and affectionate dog she’s meant to be. Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
