Meet Cassaundra, a lovebug with a playful spirit and a heart full of affection! This sweet kitty is ready to bring some fun into a foster home while she recovers from flea allergy dermatitis. Cassaundra is always excited to meet new people and will greet you with a request for pets, especially if it involves some head scratches—she can’t get enough! She’s also a curious explorer, often found engaging with toys or surveying her kingdom from the upper shelf of her kennel. If you’re looking for a snuggly, playful companion, Cassaundra is the one for you!
Reason for Foster: Fur loss and skin infection likely caused by flea allergy
Foster Time Frame: 2 weeks
Foster Care Plan: Cassaundra has a couple of spots of fur loss that our vet team feels is likely a result from flea allergy. She has been given a dose of injectable antibiotic and now just needs to spend some time in a foster home to let the medicine do it`s work. She has started a special hypoallergenic diet as well to address her skin issues. We will provide all the necessary supplies to ensure you feel fully prepared to care for this sweet girl.
I am available through our Foster to Adopt program. This program helps pets awaiting or under medical treatment be placed in with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption.
