James Baxter is German Shepherd/Lab mix young dogs that were abandoned in my yard and eventually surrendered properly by the owner. He is dog friendly with his brothers AND with other dogs as well! He is very easily directed and know basic commands. His favorite thing to do it to give a hug to other humans. He will come up to you and lean his head on you for a hug! He has a low level energy and loves to play with other dogs, but also is also very calm and relaxed if you are sitting. He is slightly shy, but is super quiet and calm! Shepherds are typically are the most anxious breed in the shelter, and need to be placed in a loving foster or home ASAP. I am happy to sponsor any transportation or adoption costs. Please help this boy find his furever home!
