Meet Moonbeam, a stunning black kitty with a medium energy level and a big heart! He’s an affectionate companion who adores being near his people, though he’s also happy to entertain himself. This sweet boy’s greatest motivation? Love and closeness.

By day, Moonbeam enjoys batting at string toys and anything fun he can find. His playful yet calm energy makes him a delightful presence, whether he's having solo playtime or curling up near you for a cozy nap. He’s especially fond of joining you in the morning, quietly observing as you go through your routine, with the occasional nuzzle to remind you he’s there.

Moonbeam thrives on human connection and would love a home where he can be close to his people. He’s well-suited to a single-pet household or with another affectionate or laid-back cat. And he’s wonderful with children—especially those who know how to be gentle and affectionate back!

Please note: Moonbeam is currently in a foster home, so the first step toward meeting him is filling out our application.

Submit Application

Once your application is submitted, a team member will reach out w/ next steps like visiting the rescue or coordinating a visit with fosters

2.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We specialize in matchmaking! Please wait for our email reply, so we can set you up with an hour-long adoption appointment at the rescue!

3.
Home Check

Once you've selected a pet(s), we'll conduct a virtual home check to cover basics and home safety.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our tax-deductible adoption fee is due at time of signing the contract, at which point you can bring your new love home!

5.
Take the Pet Home

We will support you at every point through the process! Please continue to reach out to us post-adoption with any questions you might have.

Santé D'Or Foundation was formed in 2003. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill animal rescue organization, specializing in natural healing and care.

The mission of Santé D’Or Foundation is to rescue and provide shelter and holistically-based medical care to animals, while working to secure them permanent homes. We act as an educational resource in our community through our rescue and adoption services, community outreach, and TNR efforts. Our organization is run by our Director of Animal Services and team, and staffed by volunteers.
