My story

Hi, my name is Rayne...one of the most gentle, yet playful dogs you could meet. I'm a pit mix, neutered, very healthy, up to date on all vaccinations, and estimated to be 5 yrs old.

When we met Rayne (previously named Tom by the Marion County Animal Shelter), we were told he came to them in December of 2023. He was found roaming the streets in Ocala, his history was unknown to them, and he was an eye-popping 39 lbs. Prior to us meeting Rayne, he was in a foster home of someone who is a volunteer at the animal shelter. Rayne enjoys a Victor brand diet, to which he now tips the scale at 77 lbs. He loves people (to include children), other dogs, cats, and pretty much wants to live life being loved on. If he had it his way, he'd be a lap dog forever. Since we don't allow pets on the furniture, he's perfectly fine lounging at your feet while you relax on the couch. He doesn't mind being in his crate. In fact, he runs in there when it's bedtime.
