My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lightning, a medium-energy, people-centric, love-motivated kitty who will steal your heart once she’s warmed up to you! At first, she might be a little shy with newcomers, but all it takes is a dangling toy to break the ice, and she’ll quickly show her playful side. When Lightning knows and trusts you, she becomes an affectionate little cuddle bug who craves attention and is all about the love!

Her favorite thing in the world is having her face pampered—she loves aggressive face pets and will purr loudly while smushing her face into your hands. When she’s not soaking up love, you’ll find her curled up with her sister, Stormy, but she’s also just fine playing independently when the mood strikes. Lightning is an expert biscuit-maker and will happily knead a blanket for ten minutes straight, her contentment filling the room.

Although Lightning is more selective in her affection compared to her sister, once you’ve earned her trust, she’ll be your devoted companion, showering you with love and affection. She’ll run to you as soon as you walk through the door, purring with excitement and demanding cuddles. She’s the type of kitty who wants to be with you all the time, and if you’re lucky enough to gain her heart, you’ll have a friend for life!

Lightning would thrive in a home with kids aged 5 and up, where she can enjoy both her independent playtime and her snuggly cuddle sessions. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will never leave your side once she’s comfortable, Lightning is the perfect match for you!

Please note this little lady lives in a foster home with her sister, Stormy Hope! Because of their age, they would need to go home with a buddy or to an appropriate buddy already at home.
