Hershey was found hiding under a car in terrible condition. He was matted, emaciated and had bite wounds on his neck. Thankfully a good samaritan rescued him and Hershey now has a second chance with Lovebugs Rescue.
Hershey is a 2 year old, 11 lb mixed breed with something Merle in it - maybe Aussie/Mini Poodle mix. Hershey is well mannered in the home and seems to enjoy the company of other small dogs. He will require slow handling and a warm up with new humans initially. Hershey's foster has been providing him with lots of exposure to new things in our human world. He would benefit from some continued socialization and exposure with his new family.
Hershey would prefer a home with less coming and going, and another small playful pooch would be a bonus for him, although not required. Hershey's handsome merle coat is currently cut back short, but is expected to grow back in long. This boy is super sweet and we can't wait to watch him blossom further.
Hershey's adoption fee is $400 and includes his neuter, microchip, vaccines/flea treatment and deworming current. Apply at www.lovebugsrescue.org
